I'm a libertarian and proponent of minimal government. I wish for the elimination of transaction-based taxes, and an evolution towards a tax system that more fairly reflects the cost of public goods.
It is very unlikely that we will see tax systems evolve positively and democratically at the same time. But we might be able to force positive change by mass-adopting anonymous cryptocurrencies for payments and banking.
As cryptocurrencies become mainstream I also hope that the superior technology will dominate: (e)UTXO combined with Proof-of-Stake, like Cardano.
I'm fully aware of Cardano's nasty ICO in Japan, Charles Hoskinson's reputation as a liar, and their bloated American-style marketing tactics (overpromise and underdeliver).
My dream blockchain would honestly be Bitcoin adopting Cardano's tech, but the stubborn Bitcoin community is preventing this.
