FooBar How do you buy/store your gold? Do you transport/bury physical nuggets under your home or do you naively assume that just because you bought some gold ETF/future/stock, they're 100% gold-backed? Are you aware that all the gold represented by "gold-backed" funds exceeds the actual gold supply in existence? That means someone is lying to you when they're telling you you're buying gold exposure. ()
joe10 But many people here counting me are not in crypto for profit. Yeah profit is good but try to change something as a community is way better. I have a const profit from my job and my rentals and high yield stocks and 5-10% of my monthly “profit” is going to decentralized reputable projects think of it as a donation. My main crypto portfolio btc, ada, xmr. I just believe in those projects and while can support will support.
strongheartsong just cus cbdcs will have a spot and xlm and xrp may thrive because of it; doesnt mean btc wont have an equal or even greater position for private individuals to remain in true control of their wealth. you think every billionaire aint gonna hedge 1/2 in and half out in case one system fails? you're missing something. everyones gonna be faced with a choice, and one day, to use "their" system(cbdcs) you're gonna need vaccine passports, sell your soul, etc. good luck. hope you sell the tops in ur favorite shitcoin cbdc backers and stash a little btc
