About CryptoPanic API plans

CryptoPanic provides free and paid JSON API plans of recent posts and indicators for both personal and professional use.

There are four API plans. Read more about each on this page to learn about the differences.

Free API

We have issued thousands of free APIs, which makes it our most popular API.
It does not include metadata (photo and description).
News link to CryptoPanic.
It allows unlimited API requests.

Features:

• Real time news API with sentiment data.
• News link to CryptoPanic.
• Rate limit: 5 req/sec

Free API + Pro Membership

If you are a CryptoPanic’s Pro Member, your Free API will get access to metadata (photo and description).

Features:

• Real time news API with sentiment data.
• News link to CryptoPanic.
• Rate limit: 5 req/sec
• Metadata: images and description (if provided by the source).

Startup API

Startup API is perfect for businesses that are starting out and want to give their users access to a quality news source.

Features:

• Real time news API with sentiment data.
• Exposed link to original news source.
• We are still determining the rate limits. It should be enough to support around 10 000 users.
• Metadata: images and description (if provided by the source).
• Account gets all the PRO user features.
• Rate limit: 5 req/sec
• Requires CryptoPanic attribution at the top of the news feed:

"Powered by CryptoPanic"

Enterprise API

Enterprise API is best for businesses that are stable and growing, and have a large user base.

Features:

• Real time news API with sentiment data.
• Exposed link to original news source.
• Rate limit: 10 req/sec
• Metadata: images and description (if provided by the source).
• Account gets all the PRO user features.
